Birgit Norton from Crafting While I Wait

My name is Birgit Norton and I live in a small town in the beautiful state of Maine and am married to my high school sweetie.  We've been married for 27 years and have two grown children, both married but no grands as yet.  We also have three cats and a rescue dog who is completely a mama's boy.  Being empty nesters allows me time to do all the things I love.  My passion is paper crafts, mostly making cards for friends and family, and I sell a few on the side as well.  I have a very eclectic style and like to try different things.  Cupcake Inspiration challenges have been a long time favorite of mine and I'm so happy to be joining the team for another season!   Sweetie since 2017

Carol Mayne from Just Me: C

Carol (aka *c*) joins us from Canmore, Alberta, Canada. Her journey into cards began 3 years ago when she decided to make and send Happy Month Old cards to her 2 year old niece. She's 5 now and her nephew is 3, and yes, the card 'tradition' continues. The ‘mess’ of her first attempt sent her searching the internet for ideas which sparked a ‘passion’ and here she is, thoroughly immersed in crafting with paper, stamps, inks and dies. When she’s not at her ‘craft counter’ or at work, you’ll find her at road, mountain or cyclocross bike races throughout the province as a racing official, or as #1 fan and support for her husband, cheering when he competes.  Sweetie since 2015

Saskia Pullen from Stamps and Papers
Hello everyone,

My name is Saskia Pullen and I was born on 4th of January 1981, with a heart failure called Tetralogy of Fallot, next to that I have COPD as well, through this I am unable to go out to a cinema or disco.  So I’ll fill my time to make cards and a sketchbook, which I started 1st of January 2017 for the first time, for the last I am still learning, how and which products I can use. I make cards since my open heart operation in September 1997. I started with teabags, later 3d cards and since a year or 6 with stamps as well. I love to bake pies and (cup)cakes as well. I find it more personal to make own cards, and my family appreciates it.  Sweetie since 2017

Wendy Bellino from Made by Wendy Bellino
I've always enjoyed working with my hands. Growing up, art class was my favorite time of day! Painting, drawing, cutting, gluing-it was the only time I liked getting dirty.  When I wasn't being artistic, I was writing. I was introduced to creative writing in middle school and fell in love with the magic of storytelling.  Most of my writing consisted of short stories about my childhood and family and, if you read my blog, you'll see that is still a favorite topic! I also still work with my hands. I've practiced dental hygiene for 21 years, but I find time for my creativity to flourish!

My family is a huge inspiration for my work. I'm the oldest of five siblings, was the first to get married (26 years ago!) and have children, and my husband and two sons are my life. Everything I do revolves around my family. My youngest just graduated from high school last spring and I've found that my creative outlets keep me balanced with the chaos of change!
I have a knack for making people feel comfortable (it's all that practice of being a big sister!) I never meet a stranger and I love being told, " I feel like we're old friends," after meeting someone new. So, I invite you to follow my blog, find me onFacebook and Instagram or drop me a line at wendy.bellino@gmail.com so we won't be strangers!   Sweetie since 2017
